My Work

• Co-authored 8th Computer Science Education Research Conference 2019 paper, ‘Keep Calm and Code on Your Phone: A Pilot of SuaCode, an Online Smartphone-Based Coding Course’.
• Integrated Processing via smartphones and developed Processing sketches and curriculum to teach core programming concepts interactively to hundreds of students.
• Co-developed the Braille Plus project.
• Co-designed the Processing programming syllabus of the iSWEST conference.
• Facilitated the creation of the final Processing project of the iSWEST conference.
• Developed Processing sketches, set-up and launched online Learning Management Systems for curriculum delivery to hundred students across the African continent.
• Trained, mentored and oversaw facilitators to grade and mentor students during SuaCode cohorts across the African continent and diaspora
• Supervised the implementation of the final projects of four teams of high school students at Project iSWEST.
• Facilitated the execution of the teaching sessions and taught the fundamentals of software programming with Processing.
• Launched and administered triannual Suacode cohorts to hundreds of students across the African continent and diaspora
